Warming wintery mash

Recipe method

Cook the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes or until soft enough to mash.
Fry the onion or leek with the Herta Frankfurters in a large deep frying pan in the olive oil until browned.

Place the cabbage in a bowl with 100ml water, cover and microwave for 3-4 minutes until tender.
Drain and keep warm.

Drain the potatoes and mash with the milk and butter.
Add the mash and cabbage to the pan of frankfurters and fry for a minute or two.
Season generously with black pepper and serve with hot gravy and spring onions.
